Browsing Your Collection

The Collection and Flights tabs give you two different ways to navigate your drinks archive.

Home tab

The Home tab shows a Featured Pour — the highest-rated drink you've logged recently, or your highest-rated overall if nothing recent exists — and a Recent Tastings section showing the last three drinks you've logged. It's a snapshot, not a full view.

Collection tab

The Collection tab shows your complete drinks archive in a searchable table.

Search — type any part of a name, producer, or type and the list filters instantly.

Each row shows:

  • The drink photo (or a type-based placeholder)
  • Name and producer
  • Type
  • Your overall rating
  • The date you last logged a tasting
  • A favorite heart badge if marked as a favorite

Tap any row to open the full drink detail page, where you'll see all your tasting logs, the full field set, and options to edit or log a new tasting.

Flights tab

The Flights tab organizes your collection by drink type: Wine Flight, Beer Flight, Spirits Flight, Cocktail Flight, and so on. Each type shows its entries as a visual grid with drink photos, names, producers, and ratings.

Use the Flights tab when you want to see your wines separate from your beers, or when you're browsing a specific category to pick something to drink.

Favorites

Drinks marked as favorites display a badge in the Collection tab. To see only your favorites quickly, scan the Collection tab for the favorite badge — there's no dedicated favorites filter, but favorites are visually distinct in the list.

Common questions

How do I find a drink I added a while ago? Use the search bar in the Collection tab. Search by name, producer name, or type. The search is real-time so a few letters is usually enough.

Can I filter by status (e.g., see only my Stocked drinks)? Currently the Collection tab shows all drinks together. Use the Flights tab to browse by type, or use the search bar to type a producer or note that helps identify what you're looking for.

What's the difference between the drink rating and the tasting log rating? The drink's overall rating is your stable view of how good it is. Tasting log ratings capture how a specific occasion went — a bottle that poured warm, a wine that was at peak, a cocktail that was made particularly well. Both are tracked separately.
