Your Journey

Terra is built around the idea that your life is an ongoing journey — not a series of isolated data points, but a connected story that builds over time.

How the journey unfolds

When you first set up Terra, you start at Basecamp: establishing your profile, activating the sections that matter to you, and logging your first entries. From there, the journey is simply the ongoing act of curating your life — checking in daily, reflecting on your weeks through the Chronicle, and building an archive that grows more meaningful with every entry.

There are no levels to unlock or artificial milestones to hit. Progress is visible through your Achievements (milestones earned from genuine activity), your Year in Review (an annual retrospective of everything you've tracked), and the Weekly Chronicle (a narrative of each week as it passes).

Consistency over intensity

The value of Terra compounds over time. A single mood entry tells you almost nothing. A year of mood entries tells you what your emotional rhythms look like across seasons. The same is true for habits, workouts, journals, and every other section.

The journey isn't about perfect streaks — it's about honest, regular curation of the things that matter to you.

Where to start

If you're new to Terra:

  1. Go to Explore and equip the sections relevant to your life right now
  2. Log today's mood in Mood
  3. Create your first habit in Habits
  4. Come back tomorrow

The forest grows one seed at a time.
