The Pulse
The Pulse is your daily check-in page — a single view of how today is going across the three pillars that matter most day to day: how you feel, how your habits are tracking, and how your body has been moving.
How it works
The Pulse pulls live data from three parts of your Terra archive and displays them as cards. There's no input here — it's a read-only snapshot of your current day. To log or change anything, tap the card to navigate to that section.
The three cards
Mood
Shows your mood rating for today — the label (Radiant, Serene, Flowing, Reflective, Shadowed), a five-dot indicator, and your note if you added one. If you haven't logged today's mood yet, the card prompts you to.
Tap the mood card to go to the Mood section and log or edit today's entry.
Habits Today
Shows an animated circular progress ring with your habits completed count over your total active habits for the day (e.g., 3/5). The ring fills as you complete habits.
Below the ring, each habit is listed as a line item — checkmark and strikethrough for completed habits, empty indicator for ones still outstanding.
- If all habits are done: "All done!"
- If some remain: "X remaining"
- If no habits are set: a prompt to create your first habit
Tap "Manage habits" at the bottom to go to the Habits section.
Movement
Shows your most recent completed workout from the last 7 days: type, duration, distance (for runs), difficulty, and how long ago it was. Below that, a "This week: X sessions" summary.
If you haven't logged any workouts this week, the card shows a prompt to log a session.
Tap the card to go to the Exercise section.
What The Pulse is for
The Pulse is a grounding check — a 10-second look at today before you get into the details of your archive. It answers three questions at a glance:
- Have I logged my mood today?
- How many habits have I done?
- When did I last move?
For logging and editing, use the dedicated sections. The Pulse just shows you where things stand.
