Using The Pulse
The Pulse is designed to be visited briefly at the start or end of your day. This page explains how to read it and what to do when something looks off.
Reading the mood card
The mood card shows one of five states:
| Label | Rating | What it signals |
|---|---|---|
| Radiant | 5 | Best — full energy, high clarity |
| Serene | 4 | Calm and balanced |
| Flowing | 3 | Steady — the rhythm of a normal day |
| Reflective | 2 | Quiet, low energy, introspective |
| Shadowed | 1 | Difficult or heavy |
If the card says "Not logged today," tap it to go to the Mood section and add an entry. It takes about ten seconds.
If you've logged a mood with a note, the note text appears on the card below the rating.
Reading the habits card
The progress ring shows completed / total habits for today. The number in the center is your completed count; the smaller number is your total.
The list below the ring shows each habit by name. Completed habits have a green checkmark and strikethrough text. Unchecked habits show as open.
Habits are not tappable directly from the Pulse. To check off a habit, go to the home dashboard's Daily Rituals card or the Habits page. The Pulse reflects the current state — refresh the page after checking off habits elsewhere to see the ring update.
If you see "No habits set," you haven't created any active habits yet. Tap the link to go create one.
Reading the movement card
The card shows your most recent workout with its type, duration, and difficulty. The "X days ago" or "Today" indicator tells you how recent it was.
"This week: X sessions" at the bottom gives a weekly snapshot. If you've been consistent, this number climbs. If you haven't worked out in a few days, the card will reflect that plainly.
When the Pulse shows gaps
If two or three cards are showing empty states at the same time — no mood, low habits, no workouts — that's worth noticing. The Pulse isn't designed to generate guilt, but consistent gaps are useful information about where your attention has drifted.
Getting back to the Pulse
The Pulse is accessible from the main navigation. It always reflects the current day — there's no way to view a past day from here. For past-day data, use the Calendar or the individual section archives.
