Milestones
Milestones are the significant moments in your relationship — the dates and events that mark its chapters. Unlike the Dates tab (which tracks regular outings), Milestones are for the entries that carry lasting meaning.
Adding a milestone
Tap the + button from the Milestones tab.
Fields:
- Title — what this milestone is (required). Be specific: "First trip abroad together" is more meaningful to look back on than "Trip."
- Date — when it happened (required)
- Category — Anniversary, First (first meeting, first kiss, etc.), Achievement, Special, or Other
- Description — the story behind it (optional but recommended)
- Photos — attach one or more photos (optional)
What the Milestones tab shows
Hero card — the most recent milestone gets a full-width featured card at the top with its photo as the background, category badge, and date. This updates as you add new entries.
Timeline — all milestones in reverse chronological order below, showing category color, date, title, and a description preview.
Categories
Categories help you distinguish between different kinds of milestones:
- Anniversary — recurring yearly milestones (relationship anniversary, wedding anniversary)
- First — things that happened for the first time (first meeting, first trip, first home together)
- Achievement — things you accomplished together
- Special — moments that don't fit a category but deserve marking
- Other — anything else
The category appears as a colored badge on each milestone card.
Editing and deleting
Open any milestone from the timeline or hero card. Edit any field or delete with confirmation.
Tips
- Add milestones retroactively. You don't need to log them in real time. Sit down and add the significant ones from the beginning of your relationship — it only takes a few minutes and the timeline is much richer for it.
- The description is where the entry lives. The title identifies the milestone; the description tells the story. Even two or three sentences is enough.
- Use photos for the milestones that have them. The hero card uses the photo as a full background — entries with photos look significantly better in the featured view.
