Tasks
Tasks is a straightforward action-item tracker. Capture things you need to do, set priorities and due dates, organise by category, and track your completion rate over time.
How it works
Each task has a title, a status, and optionally a priority, category, due date, and description. Tasks appear on your Calendar by due date and in daily views across Terra. Completing a task is a single tap.
Terra also supports natural language entry — type "Call dentist Friday high priority" and Terra automatically parses the date and priority from your text.
Statuses
You can use the default statuses or create your own:
Default statuses: Active, In Progress, Blocked, On Hold, Cancelled, Completed
Custom statuses let you build a workflow that fits your process — for example, adding "Waiting On" or "In Review" as states specific to how you work.
What you can do
- Create tasks quickly with the task form, including natural language parsing
- Set priority — Low, Medium, or High
- Assign categories — custom categories you create and name
- Set due dates — tasks appear on your Calendar by due date
- Toggle completion with a single tap
- Create custom statuses with custom colors for your workflow
- Bulk-delete completed tasks to clear the list
- See productivity trends in the Velocity chart
The three tabs

How tasks connect to the rest of Terra
Tasks with due dates appear on your Calendar and in daily views. They can also be linked to Goals — connecting a specific action to the larger intention it supports. Overdue tasks surface in the Calendar's day detail panel so nothing slips past silently.
